what we believe
We believe in building a culture that throws rocks at the
status quo and at corporate-minded, impersonal
relationships with our customers and with each other. We
believe we can connect with every one of our customers to
help them on their journey to greatness.
We believe life is more than money and comfort. Therefore
we don’t believe in “cashing out” or “retiring by the lake.”
Those thoughts are the enemy.
We believe that if we put our customers first no matter what,
they will in turn help make us successful in our mission.
We believe money is simply a tool to accomplish our
mission to serve people, inspire adventure, and reflect God.
We believe everyone is created by God for greatness, and
we want to play a small part in our customers' journey to it.
We believe we all have a legacy of adventure to live and

how it all began
Alaska and wedding rings. These two things probably don't
always go together, especially to form a company, but for
Groove it did.
Our founder, Peter Goodwin, needed a wedding band that
was on par with his other adventure/work gear. Groove
Ring was first thought of on the banks of the famous
Moraine Creek in Katmai National Park.
While raising four young kids, building an adventure lodge,
and running his guiding business, Peter worked nights for
eight months perfecting the Groove Ring design. His focus?
Finding the best materials and developing functional
designs with an unlimited warranty.
Groove Ring was kickstarted in December 2015 and has
grown to be the industry leader for active, adventurous

who we are
We are a fun loving, and anti-corporate, adventurous
group of misfits who love pushing the limits and
questioning the status quo. Our culture is one of
freedom, hard work, and fun.
"I hate corporate cultures and strive to make Groove a
place of endless autonomous creation. We are on a
mission to serve our fans and build a culture of curiosity,
adventurous risk taking, and outstanding results."
- Peter Goodwin, Founder
We're somewhat quirky and a little rough around the edges,
but we're eager to serve. We're all pretty different, but share
a common goal and vision.
Serve People. Inspire Adventure. Reflect God.
We started in Port Alsworth, Alaska, 150 miles from the
nearest road with one employee. We've ended up just south
of Nashville, one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S.
We've recently renovated an old school building and now
employ over 50 people. If you're ever in the area, please
come and say hi!

As it's often said, "Necessity is the mother of all invention."
We would agree. Groove started with a need for a
breathable, tough, and safe wedding ring. We are passionate
about pushing the limits in this category but have many other
products in the works. We'll bring the same quality and
lifetime warranty to all of our future products, and you'll love
what we come out with next...guaranteed!
