Sizing & Fit
If I am a half-size (e.g., 8.5 or 9.5), should I size up or size down?
Choosing a silicone ring size can be tricky if you are between sizes. Whether you size up or down depends on the ring style:
Size DOWN for Solid, Edge, and Hero rings. These are 100% silicone and will naturally relax for a perfect fit.
Size UP for Camo, Nomad, and Aspire rings. These use a medical-grade elastomer blend that does not stretch or relax over time.
How do these sizes compare to traditional metal ring sizes?
Groove Life rings generally run true to standard metal ring sizes. Some customers find they run slightly large. If you know your metal ring size, start there. If you’re a half size, follow the style-based sizing rule above.
Do you offer larger sizes (15–17)?
We currently offer up to size 14 in our printed rings.
Are smaller sizes (3–5) available in the printed rings?
Currently, most patterned collections like Nomad and Camo start at size 7. However, our Thin Aspire and Stackable collections offer sizes as small as 4.
Are men’s and women’s sizes interchangeable if I prefer a specific width?
Absolutely. The sizing is the same for both. If you prefer the 8mm "Original" width or the 5.5mm "Thin" width, just order your standard size in that style.
What should I do if my ring is too tight, slides off when wet, or needs to fit over large knuckles?
Groove Life rings are designed with flexibility for comfort and security. They stretch enough "give" to slide over knuckles but stay snug on the finger. If it's too tight or sliding off, we offer free size exchanges within the first 30 days to ensure you get the perfect fit. You can do that HERE.
How do I measure my finger correctly at home?
The best way is to use our Sizing Guide on our website, which includes printable tools and tips to find your exact match.
What’s the width difference between Original/Wide and Thin rings?
The difference is purely width—not sizing. The Original/Wide is : 8mm and Thin: 5.5mm
Durability & Performance
Will the printed designs fade, peel, or wear off?
Groove Life printed rings are engineered for durability. While extreme conditions or harsh chemicals may affect designs over time, any fading or peeling is covered by our Groove Guarantee.
How do they hold up to construction, mechanical work, or weightlifting?
They are built for it! They are durable enough for heavy labor and lifting. Plus, if you ever snag it on a piece of equipment, the ring is designed to break to save your finger.
Does the ring stretch out over time, or does it hold its shape?
Our Solid rings will "relax" slightly in the first two weeks to fit your finger perfectly. Our printed rings are "pre-relaxed" and will hold their shape without stretching out.
Why would a ring become hard, brittle, or feel like it’s shrinking?
This is rare but can happen if the ring is exposed to certain harsh chemicals or fuels (like gasoline or diesel). If this happens, don't worry—we will help replace it under our Groove Guarantee.
Are Groove Life rings resistant to salt water, hand sanitizer, or gasoline?
Groove Life rings are made for real life.Salt water and hand sanitizer are completely safe. Printed designs may be sensitive to harsh fuels, but environmental damage is covered by our Groove Guarantee a small shipping and processing fee will apply.
Is there a "break-in" period?
For solid rings, there is a short "relaxing" period of about 1–2 weeks. Printed rings feel the same from day one.
Are Groove Life rings breathable and skin-safe?
Our rings are specifically designed with patented internal grooves that allow air in and moisture out, preventing the "sweaty finger" feel and skin irritation. No prune finger here!

Are these 100% silicone and latex-free?
Yes, all our rings are latex-free. Our printed rings are a medical-grade synthetic elastomer blend of silicone.
Are these "breakaway" rings that prevent finger injuries?
Yes! All Groove Life rings are designed to break if enough force is applied, preventing ring avulsion and keeping your finger safe.
Are they non-conductive and safe for electricians?
Yes. Since they are made of silicone and elastomers with no metal, they are non-conductive and safe for electrical work.
Is the "wood" or "metal" look a real material or just a pattern?
Groove Rings are high-quality pattern or a specialized elastomer blend. This allows you to have the aesthetic of wood or metal with the safety and comfort of a flexible ring.
Warranty, Returns & Exchanges
What does the 94-year "No BS" Groove Guarantee actually cover?
Everything. If you break it, stretch it, lose it, or even if a T-Rex eats it—we will replace it. It covers the ring for 94 years, no matter what. With the Groove Guarantee a small shipping/processing fee may apply.
How do I file a claim, and are there fees?
You can file a claim at groovelife.com/pages/warranty. There is a small shipping/processing fee for replacements.
What if I ordered the wrong size?
Size mistakes can happen but don’t worry we offer free exchanges for the first 30 days! You can start the process through our Returns Portal. Keep in mind that mystery and clearance items are final sale.
Can I make return if I need to?
Yes, we offer returns for the first 30 days after purchase. You can start the process through our Returns Portal. Items are refunded, but shipping and package protection are non-refundable.
Maintenance, Shipping & Logistics
What is the best way to clean my ring?
Cleaning is quick and easy. Use warm water and mild soap and a soft bristle tooth brush to get those groves clean!
How long does standard shipping take?
Standard shipping usually takes 3–5 business days. We typically ship orders out within 24 hours of purchase, closed on weekends.
