Order the Groove Belt size that matches your pant waist size. Sizes are designed to fit true to waist measurements.
Pant size 30–32 → Size S (Waist 28”–32”)
Pant size 33–34 → Size M (Waist 33”–36”)
Pant size 35–36 → Size M (Waist 33”–36”)
Pant size 37–38 → Size L (Waist 37”–40”)
If you’re between sizes (for example, a 32 or 36), it’s best to size up for the most comfortable fit and adjust using the tail slack. You can cut off any extra webbing you think is too long. Check out this video on how.
Groove Belts are true to size but include a few extra inches of slack to fine-tune your fit without feeling tight.
Yes, our OG Groove Belt is available up to XXL, which comfortably fits waist sizes from 50–60+ inches.
Most users will have around 4–5 inches of extra webbing once the belt is buckled. You can trim and reseal if needed.
The buckle measures 1.7" × 2.6" (0.4" thick), while the webbing is 1.4" wide (2.4mm thick). Total belt weight is approximately 0.38 lbs.
The buckle contains less than 0.5% nickel—well below most sensitivity thresholds. It’s safe for the vast majority of wearers.
Our belts use high-strength nylon webbing blended with stretch tech polyester for long-lasting durability and comfort.

Yes, the OG Groove Belt may trigger detectors due to its strong neodymium magnets, however check out the Ultra Belt which is made for travel and TSA friendly.
Avoid wearing the Groove Belt if you have a pacemaker or implanted medical device, as the magnets are strong. It’s safe for everyday items like phones and cards.

The anodized aluminum buckle is durable, but can show marks with rough contact. We recommend normal wear and tear. And it’s backed by our Groove Guarantee for life.
