Mandatory Fun: Cornhole & Corn Dogs
We’re back for another edition of Mandatory Fun! This week at Groove, we gathered together for some friendly competition at our company-wide Cornhole Championship game.
For weeks leading up to this event, teams of two faced off in cornhole games during their lunch breaks. The first team to score 21 points secured the win for that game, and the team who won the best two out of three games went on to the next round of our tournament.
Twenty-four teams dwindled down to two and, before we knew it, our Cornhole Championship was upon us.
It was the Girl Dads against the Cool Beans.
To spice up the game, Groove Life supplied corn dogs for all participants and spectators. It was the snack of the day and the perfect item to enjoy while watching the two teams face off against each other in cornhole.
The winning team would take away a specially engraved Cornhole Champion Groove Belt along with the only two Cornhole Champion t-shirts in existence (at Groove Life anyway). They would also have two cans of corn donated in their honor to The Well Food Drive.
Who took away the win? Well, you’ll have to watch to find out!
