Veteran’s Day 2021

Posted by Joel Kneedler on

We wouldn’t know the meaning of freedom without you.

We at Groove Life want to take a moment to wish our military service members a happy Veterans Day. We want you to know we see you.

You could have chosen any other profession, but you chose to serve. You could have stayed home, but you went.

You endured the worst, so we could experience the best.

When is Veterans Day?

Veterans Day lands on November 11, the same day each year. Technically, it occurs at the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

Originally called Armistice Day, it was a day to mark the end of World War I. Today we call it Veterans Day, a day to honor our military service members from every war ever since.

Groove Life is a proud employer of veterans of the armed forces.

Today's Veterans

For the past 20 years, America has asked a lot from our service men and women.

From the long wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, to other global theaters in South Korea, Vietnam, Africa, Germany—and the many others we may never know about—you have been faithful to complete difficult missions.

So, on this Veterans Day, we say thanks...

  • Thank you for volunteering to serve
  • Thank you for the long deployments and secret rescue missions
  • Thank you for never leaving a fallen comrade behind
  • Thank you for tracking down the bad guys and keeping the war over there

Your service matters.

We know you paid a price and we want you to know it was worth it.

This Veterans Day, as the president lays a wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, we, too, salute the soldiers who gave their lives and we salute those who made it home.

Happy Veterans Day.
