Within a month the ring has apparently been separating internally. As you can see from the pictures, it’s totally lost its shape and has rippling on the outer layer. Sad, as I wanted to like this.

As far as when or how a ring gets damaged, there can be a lot of different reasons for that. It really just depends on how people use their hands & what the ring gets exposed to every day.
