I’m on my 4th replacement from standard use no harsh conditions. This ring will tear, yes they are designed to fail under the right conditions but not from normal wear….
I’ve had it replaced under warranty every time but you have to pay to replace it right around 20% of the cost, not much of a warranty if you ask me…
